Design Websites

http://www.abnorm.at/
This site is a furniture design site. It is very simple in its design and carries through the entire site with natural colors. This is good for this particular site because a lot of the product from the designer is made out of wood. It is also nice that when you click to see what products they have, there are thumbnails of all the products hat scrolls as you move your pointer. The background is of a room in a beige color and with black shadows, which is carried through the site in black font. Also keeping with the natural look, the other color of font used is green.

Martin Davis's furniture is contemporary and homemade, to which his style of furniture is also shown through his site. He does a great job at making his site very simple and chooses a good font. He uses his furniture to create depth to the site; he doesn't only use he site to display his work but to create new dimensions to it.

This is one of my favorite design websites because it is very simplistic. There is no color to it other than the line of pictures of his furniture. It is a very clean slate design. The company provides sculpture, lighting, furniture and construction and it is very obvious as to what they can offer you.

This is a very nice website, except for couple nit picky problems i have with it. I really dont like how they didn't choose a more efficient design font and decided to stick with Times New Roman. For some reason, i think times new roman font looks unprofessional and very homemade. It does a very good job at displaying its work and answering a lot of questions the customer might have.

This site is also very clean cut and displays its work very well. as soon as you locate the site, you can immediately determine the products it offers and style it which the designer goes by.
But, i am going to be picky with this site again and complain about the use of font. On this site, it also uses times new roman, along with a couple different types, which is distracting to the eye. The designer should have chosen to use only one type of font.

Even thought this site is in Spanish, i can understand what it is saying and get the concepts of the design. The site only contains a couple of colors that is the same font. When clicking on a link, the information shows up in the same place every time, which is nice. It also has thumbnails of the product that the designer creates.

http://www.artmetalworks.com/
This is one of my favorite sites of the ones i have researched because it is clean cut and uses a good choice of font. The photography of the products really obtains the quality of work the designer has. Actually, the products of this designer are my favorite, it is rustic and decorative metal works.

This site is very professional, as its craftsmanship and design is. The same font is carried throughout the entire site, and only one product is displayed on the page at a time so that the focus is on the product. It is a nice touch that when you click on a picture, the current page fades in and out.

This is a very nice site, however i am going to be picky about the choice of font because there are two types that makes it more difficult for the eye to focus on the product. Also, i am not too sure the color purple was the best choice for this site.

what a great site! the font is perfect and the choice of when certain words are to be faded is very good. the site is very straight forward and clean cut. The only color to this site is in the headline and the picture of the product.

Thanks for listing a bunch of graphic design websites. I've been trying to compile a list of my own favorite sites. There were a few here that I had never heard of, so thanks for introducing me to a few new resources.
